At a glance

MintyMint is a technology partner that designs, builds, and scales digital products for mid-market and enterprise clients – companies with a roadmap but not enough people to deliver it, or with an operational problem that AI can solve but they can't build themselves. The work spans three areas:
  • Dedicated engineering teams – engineers, designers, and PMs who join your process and ship against your roadmap.
  • AI/ML implementation – from a named business problem to a working system, such as a churn prediction model running at 92% accuracy.
  • Data platforms, integrations, and modernization – cloud architecture and CI/CD work that cut infrastructure cost and manual deployments.
Founded in 2017, MintyMint has grown to a team of 100+ experts and delivered 100+ projects across Europe, North America, the UK, the GCC, and Australia, including 20+ AI projects for Fortune 500 companies.
Ukrainian-founded and operating through an Estonian legal entity, MintyMint collects payments from clients worldwide and pays contractors across the EU every month – making fast, reliable cross-border payments part of daily delivery.
By 2025, their existing payment setup had become the bottleneck. They partnered with Solidgate Treasury and moved to a live, multi-currency account in under 10 days.
"Candidly, we expected the usual runaround. Instead we went live in under ten days. Every document was reviewed properly, every question was clear, and there was always someone to actually talk to. That's not what we'd gotten used to."– Cyril Diamandi, CEO & Founder, MintyMint

Three gaps in the existing setup

MintyMint was already running payments through two providers – and that was the problem.

Coverage gaps and missing rails

Neither provider covered the full functionality the business needed. The critical gap was SEPA Instant – not properly supported by one of their providers – which blocked direct interaction with the payment providers and platforms that rely on it for both pay-in and payout. For a company transacting daily across the EU, a missing rail meant constant workarounds.

Variable costs with no ceiling

Both providers priced on a percentage basis. As payment volumes moved, so did the cost – with no ceiling and no predictability. For a services business managing margins across 100+ experts and a steady flow of contractor payments, variable percentage fees made financial planning harder than it should be.

A one-sided rejection with no path forward

After reopening MintyMint's case, one provider issued a hard "no" – no explanation, no route to appeal. That was the breaking point.
As Solidgate's Commercial Director later explained: compliance rejections often compound – one flag leads to another, and the merchant ends up with a unilateral decision they can't challenge. For Ukrainian-founded businesses operating through EU entities, this pattern is familiar.
"One of our providers reopened our case and closed it again – no explanation, no way to fix it. We're an ISO-certified company that's been building software for over a decade. Being shut out with a one-line answer isn't something you can plan around. With Solidgate, compliance actually looked at who we are. That changed everything." – Cyril Diamandi, CEO & Founder, MintyMint

Building reliable cross-border banking

Once MintyMint decided to move, the priority was speed without cutting corners on compliance.

Fast, guided onboarding

MintyMint started with a single onboarding form. Solidgate's compliance team handled beneficiary verification and documentation transparently – every request went into one document, with clear questions and direct links, so nothing was left ambiguous.
Communication stayed open at every step, and the whole process – from decision to live account – took under 10 days.

Direct USD and EUR IBANs for a global client base

Solidgate Treasury opened direct USD and EUR IBANs for MintyMint – dedicated rails for its global client base. Payments from clients across the US, UK, EU, Australia, and GCC arrived directly, without intermediaries.

SEPA Instant – the missing rail

Solidgate enabled direct SEPA Instant for both pay-in and payout, closing the exact gap their previous provider had left open. MintyMint could now work directly with the payment providers and platforms that require SEPA Instant – no workarounds, no delays.

Mass payouts to 25+ contractors, instantly

MintyMint needed to pay up to 25 contractors across Ukraine and the EU on a recurring basis. Solidgate's mass payout capability covered it end to end – via IBAN as well as Visa Direct and Mastercard Move. So payments reached contractors regardless of how they were set up to receive funds, within a monthly volume of roughly $50K.

Fixed pricing, predictable costs

Solidgate replaced percentage-based fees with fixed pricing – cutting average payment costs by up to 30% and giving the finance team a cost line they could plan around.

A local team and open communication

Perhaps the most decisive factor was having a real partner. Solidgate's team was locally present and reachable – able to explain compliance decisions, walk through document requirements, and resolve questions directly rather than through a support queue or a one-line rejection. For a business that had just been shut out with no explanation, that access was the difference between being stuck and moving forward.
"We pay contractors across Ukraine and the EU every month. We needed SEPA Instant and real mass payouts – not workarounds. Now it's one account, direct IBANs, and payments that just go through. The fixed pricing was the part our finance team appreciated most." – Cyril Diamandi, CEO & Founder, MintyMint

Live in under 10 days – with a partner that picks up the phone

  • A live multi-currency account in under 10 days, from decision to working setup.
  • Direct USD and EUR IBANs, giving MintyMint dedicated accounts to transact with clients across the globe.
  • SEPA Instant for pay-in and payout, closing the gap their previous provider had left open and enabling direct interaction with SEPA Instant platforms.
  • Mass payouts to 25+ contractors across Ukraine and the EU – via IBAN, Visa Direct, and Mastercard Move – at roughly $50K monthly volume.
  • Up to 30% lower average payment costs through fixed, predictable pricing.
  • Two providers replaced by one, with transparent compliance and open communication throughout.
Beyond the launch, MintyMint gained a banking setup that matches how the business actually operates – one account for incoming client payments and outgoing contractor payouts, covering Ukraine, the EU, and beyond, on predictable terms and with the team that stays reachable.
"The difference wasn't a feature. It was having a team nearby that picks up the phone and explains things. After what we'd been through, that mattered more than anything." – Cyril Diamandi, CEO & Founder, MintyMint
