Alert-Based Cancellation for subscriptions
We are introducing Alert-Based Cancellation, a feature that lets you manage subscription cancellations based on specific alert types for card payments and PayPal. This gives you more control to align subscription flows with your business needs and risk strategies.
Here’s what you can do based on the alert type:
-
No action (Inquiry alerts only): Subscriptions continue as usual when an inquiry alert is received.
-
Soft cancel (End of billing period): Subscriptions stay active until the current billing cycle ends. You receive a webhook notification, and customers can enjoy uninterrupted service until the end of their term.
-
Hard cancel (Immediate): Subscriptions end right away, with a webhook notification sent. You can restore canceled subscriptions if necessary.
This feature is automatically available for accounts with prevention or chargeback alerts enabled. If these alerts are not active for your account, you can contact your account manager to enable them.

Track taxes with Webhooks or HUB
We are thrilled to share a small yet impactful update on our Tax Solution: now, you can easily track your taxes through Webhooks or directly in the Solidgate Hub.
1. Effortless tax tracking with Webhooks: Stay informed about calculated taxes for each transaction with real-time webhook notifications, and easily share accurate payment details with your customers via receipts or your customer portal.
How to enable Webhooks:
-
Go to your Webhook settings.
-
Subscribe to the Calculated Tax event.
2. See taxes in HUB instantly: Want to view taxes in the Hub? No extra setup is needed—just navigate to the payment details and find the Taxes subsection right there.
For more details on setting up and using webhooks, check out our documentation.
Improvements
More control with Payment Link deactivation options
You can now deactivate Payment Links to prevent users from completing payments through specific links. When users access the deactivated link, they will see a message indicating the link is no longer available.
How to use it: This feature is available both in the Solidgate Hub and through the Payment Link API, giving you the flexibility to manage links in the way that works best for your business.

Improved routing in HUB
We’ve enhanced the HUB with two new features to streamline your workflows:
-
Routing data export: Easily export your routing data to a file for faster, more detailed analysis. Spot trends, optimize routing flows, and make smart adjustments to improve transaction success rates and reduce fees.
-
Quick bank MID access: Access Bank MIDs directly from Split details to cut out the clicks and simplify your workflow.
Put these updates to work in the hub!
Order details in modal view for quicker access
You can now view order details in a modal window without leaving the order list! This streamlined approach allows you to check details faster and avoid page transitions. We’re excited to hear your feedback and will gladly expand this feature for everyone.
Gain deeper insights with enhanced HUB Analytics
We’ve added two powerful updates to the HUB to help you better understand and manage your payments:
- Gross Volume is now part of Payment Analytics, giving you a clearer understanding of your total transaction volume. Use this metric to get a more comprehensive view of your overall payment performance and make smarter business decisions.
-
PayPal risk metrics available in HUB: You can now monitor and control key metrics, including Claim Rate, External Chargeback Rate, and Dispute Rate. To make things even clearer, we’ve added a tooltip detailing how these metrics are calculated. This ensures you have the context you need to better understand and manage your risks.
These updates provide clear, actionable insights to help you optimize performance and proactively manage potential risks.
Stay informed with real-time PayPal billing token revoke notifications
We have improved how you receive updates when customers revoke their PayPal billing token. Previously, there could be significant delays between when a customer revoked their token and when you were notified, potentially leading to failed recurring payments without timely action.
What’s new?
- Faster notifications: You will receive real-time webhook updates as soon as we get information from PayPal about a revoked billing token.
- Clear cancellation process: Subscriptions impacted by token revocation will be scheduled for cancellation with a specific cancel code:

Transitioning to Mastercard’s SCOF Tokenization
Great news: we are introducing Mastercard’s Secure Card on File (SCOF) tokenization service at Solidgate to enhance card-on-file payment security. Here’s what you should know about the transition to SCOF:
What to know:
-
Existing cards tokenized with MDES will be re-tokenized under SCOF.
-
New cards will be tokenized through both MDES and SCOF during the transition for seamless processing.
-
You may receive multiple callbacks for the same card (creation or updates) in both services, but there will be no double fees for SCOF tokenization.
Note: Solidgate will manage the transition entirely—no action is required on your end. Our ultimate goal is to fully adopt SCOF for all Mastercard tokenizations.
Thanks for exploring what’s new—every update is a step toward simplifying payments and helping you unlock new growth paths for your business.
